080612-102Well, I suppose that technically I won't be 30 until 6:04pm tomorrow. That's the good news. I can still be 29 for another 18 hours and 4 minutes. Maybe between now and then time will stop.
On another note, I've been trying to do tiling like Dzeni from "Not Quite Perfect". I'm not having much luck. If you want to see some awesome tiling, check out her blog.

In approximately one hour I will be 30 years old. As if for effect, the universe thought it would be funny that I turn 30 on Friday the 13th. Ouch.
The bad news is, I could only make one fractal tonight, in spite of sitting here for two or three hours trying to make more. Something about the prospect of turning 30 has given me artist's block.

Now I know why I took a year-long break from making fractals. It must have been a subconscious decision to take a vacation from an obsession. Once I'm in the "fractalizing" mood, I'm lost to the world. I'm in the zone, the fractal zone.
