I found this article today about a mathematician who crocheted a model of the hyperbolic plane. In addition to the article is an audio file of the NPR radio segment one can listen to if one wishes.
My first attractor using a program called Chaoscope. I found out about this program thanks to a blog I discovered today called "Not Quite Perfect". I have put a link to her blog under my links section.
