Animated Fractal

This is the first time I've animated one of my fractals.  I've saved it as an animated gif file.  Please allow the page time to load so that the animation
runs smoothly and not jumpy.  Chances are, if you have a dial-up connection, you can't see it as it's over five megabytes in size.  I just hope the rest of the page can load for you.  For the rest of you, if you can't see the animation above, please let me know, either in the comments here on the blog, or by sending me an email to fractal_rock@yahoo.com  For those of you with dial-up, can you let me know if the rest of the page loads up for you?  Thank you!

Oooo...sure glad I don't imbibe in alcohol anymore! This sort of wonderful animation's liable to make a guy woozy! Another gorgeous fractal though.

Don't get dizzy! :)

Thank you for the visit and the comment. Happy Monday to you!

Hi,
It came in spinning for me, with some horizontal-interference bands there.
But I have only dial up and cannot even get U-tube, as if I would want to get U-tube!
But you should create this animation with the best possible tools. Most everyone has the fast connection now, especially in other countries it seems, so you must design for that.
I will hit the local library and see your animation. Did you ever get Hop Fractals to run?

This is neat, Stacey. Always wanted to try an animation, but haven't figured it out yet,(like most things). I have DSL, so it was jerky to begin with, but when fully loaded it was smooth.

Hi Goatman, what're you still doing with dial-up? I can say that now, since I got cable a week ago! :P

It does spin around and around, and the bubble gets smaller and smaller, although the horizontal interference bands shouldn't be there.

I take it then, that the rest of the blog loads well. I was concerned for a while that putting up an animated fractal would completely stop the loading process of the rest of the page for those who come here via dial-up, but now I know it does not, and I feel relieved.

I have watched several videos on YouTube, though not many. It was one of the things I thought about watching more of with my new high-speed Internet, though. I was really more excited about the ability to download podcasts.

I never did try out Hop Fractals. I don't know that I could animate an Apophysis image with that software, since .flame files I think are only privy to Apophysis.

Hi TotalChaos,

Tomorrow I'm going to send you some instructions on how to animate your Apophysis fractals. I would do it now but it's past my bedtime. You'll be surprised at how easy it is. It looks difficult, but really isn't. Just a few simple commands, really. I used Adobe ImageReady to import 180 frames and then I optimized it as a .gif file.

Be on the look out for an email from me tomorrow!

'eliyahu ben 'avraham vaSarah, be ready for some more! Now that I've got it figured out, it could become a regular thing here at the Intergalactic Art gallery.

Thanks for the compliment!

Deb, hypnotists can make their victims do almost anything. Be careful! ;)

TotalChaos, I sent it off earlier this morning to your gmail account. Be on the look out! And remember, if you have any questions, I'll be more than glad to help.
